Baldock, a Historic Market Town in the English County of Hertfordshire
The market town of Baldock is under the local government district of North Hertfordshire in the geographic county of Hertfordshire, England. The town is located in the source of the River Ivel. It is 14 miles north-north-west of Hertford, 15 miles south-east of Bedford and 33 miles north of London. Its next door neighbours are Stevenage to the south, Hitchin & Letchworth to the south-west, and Royston to the northeast.

There are numerous eating places in Baldock spread all over town. Although quite a large number is concentrated along High Street, there are some along Whitehorse Street and Hitchin Street.
