Free Delivery & Collection

Free delivery and collection are available for eligible UK mainland home or workplace addresses. We confirm the address, access, timing and vehicle when you book. Airports, stations, ports and other non-standard locations need a separate check; additional charges can apply.

Unlimited Mileage

Unlimited mileage is available subject to current fair-use terms. High-mileage work and courier or delivery-service use need separate arrangements; excess-mile charges can apply.

One-Way Hire

Selected vehicles may be available for a one-way UK mainland hire. We confirm both postcodes, the vehicle, route and any charge before booking. European and island one-way journeys are not included.

About Truck Hire

The truck range includes box bodies, tail lifts, dropsides, curtainsides, tippers and heavier vehicles. These body types suit different loading methods and different kinds of goods, so choosing by weight alone can leave you with the wrong vehicle.

Tell us the weight and dimensions of your load, whether loading is from the rear, side or above, and if a tail lift is needed. We will check usable payload, body dimensions and the available vehicle group for your dates.

Choosing a truck

A box truck provides enclosed load space. Curtainsides allow side access, while dropsides and tippers suit work with different loading requirements. Sleeper and heavier truck groups are available to enquire about for longer or specialist work.

The driver’s licence entitlement, insurance and any operator requirements must match the exact vehicle and intended use. We will check these before confirming a hire; a truck shown in a photograph is an example of a group, not a stock promise.

HIRE INFORMATION

Before you book

Ask for a quote with your vehicle requirements, hire period, delivery and collection postcodes, named drivers and planned route. We will confirm price, mileage, deposit and cover, including any charge for specialist delivery or a one-way hire. Longer hire periods can be priced for the exact vehicle and work.

Insurance is normally included for eligible named drivers on vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes, subject to excess and exclusions. Heavier trucks require suitable customer insurance and applicable credentials. Confirm the position for your booking before the vehicle is supplied.

What licence and driver details do you need?

We check the licence entitlement and history of every named driver, along with age, experience and intended use. General car, van and truck policies normally cover ages 23–70 with at least two years’ driving experience, subject to approval. Minibuses and heavier vehicles have additional requirements.
