On the right-hand bank of the River Granta, in the county, Cambridgeshire in eastern England sits the lovely village of Stapleford. Situated approximately four miles south of the city of Cambridge, this village is a tranquil place that offers a laid-back countryside feel that helps people relax. With plenty of stunning sceneries to take in, breathtaking landscapes to explore and beautiful open spaces to visit, this village is a destination that offers people a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is an excellent destination for secluded trips, laid-back family vacations and carefree road trips with friends.
As a small village, it only houses a few shops to cater to all the shopping needs of both the locals and its visitors. It only has the basic shops like supermarkets, bakery and shopping facilities that offer the daily necessities and some shopping items. With poor retail therapy to offer, Stapleford is not the type of destination where you will enjoy shopping.
The village is home to two excellent pubs, The Three Horseshoes and The Rose, serving succulent Sunday roasts, finely brewed ales, shepherd’s pies and the traditional fish ‘n’ chips. Along with these pubs are a good selection of restaurants and various eateries offering a number of international cuisines and cheap eats.
