What licence and driver details do you need?

We check the licence entitlement and history of every named driver, along with age, experience and intended use. General car, van and truck policies normally cover ages 23–70 with at least two years’ driving experience, subject to approval. Minibuses and heavier vehicles have additional requirements.

Is insurance included?

Insurance is normally included for eligible named drivers on vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes. Excesses and exclusions apply, including goods in transit, overhead-height, tyre, windscreen and flood damage. Heavier trucks require suitable customer insurance. Confirm the cover for your hire before booking.

Approximately fourteen miles west of the city center of Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire lies the village and civil parish of South Cave. This village is situated on the A1034 Road and located about two miles southeast of the village and parish of North Cave. This parish is formed by the village itself, the hamlet of Drewton and a part of the hamlet of Riplingham. It also lies within the Haltemprice and Howden Parliamentary constituency. The “cave” in its name derives from “the fast flowing one,” where it means “stream” in Old English.

Amenities in this village includes a post office, several medical services, a library, The Bear Inn Pub, a variety of shops and a Costcutter Supermarket. In its market place, you will also find a merchant, two attorneys, a blacksmith and a national school. It also has traditional high street shops such as boot & shoe makers, three shopkeepers, tailors, a grocer, four butchers, bakers and more. This makes the village of South Cave a self-sustaining destination with enough retail and commercial facilities to cater to its local demands.

The village also has a good range of places to eat to take well good care of famished travelers. It provides a lot of choices when it comes to places to eat.
