Hendon is a London suburb in the Borough of Barnet, north-west of Charing Cross. This suburb was an ancient parish in the county of Middlesex and has been part of Greater London since 1965. It had a population of 52,972 in 2011 and included the, Hendon West and Colindale wards. This suburb is served by the Central Tube Station on the Edgware Branch of the Northern line and by the suburb’s railway station on National Rail First Capital Connect line as well as by numerous bus routes.
