Sutton, a Civil Parish and Village in the Central Bedfordshire District of Bedfordshire County, England
The village of Sutton in the Central Bedfordshire District of the English county of Bedfordshire is also a civil parish. It is only a mile south of Potton and close to the market towns of Biggleswade and Sandy.

Things to See and Do in Sutton
There is a museum in the Cheam Village, the Whitehall Museum. The building housing the museum is a wonder in itself with details from the Edwardian, Victorian and Georgian eras.
Another local landmark is the Packhorse bridge, a small bridge with double arches alongside the ford crossing Potton Brook which is a River Ivel tributary. The bridge is built from local sandstone in the 14th or 15 Century. It is believed to be the only existing bridge of its kind in the county. The bridge was built on a route vital to the wool industry between the towns of Dunstable and Bedford. In 1941, responsibility for the Packhorse Bridge was assumed by the Bedfordshire County Council which implemented repairs in 1986. The Civic Trust award was bestowed on the council in 1988 for undertaking the repair.
