Bishop ‘s Stortford is a civil parish and market town in the Hertfordshire County in England. The town lies west of the M11 motorway on the boundary between Hertfordshire and Essex. It is 27 miles northeast of Charing Cross in Central London and 35 miles from the London Liverpool Street, a central London railway terminal of the line to Cambridge that passes through the town. It is also a sizeable town closest to the London Stansted Airport.
