Radlett, a Large Prosperous Village in the Hertsmere District in the English County of Hertfordshire
The large, prosperous town of Radlett lies along Watling Street between Borehamwood and St Albans in the Hertsmere district of the English County of Hertfordshire. The town is divided into two wards, Aldenham West and Aldenham East. It sits in the valley of the Tykes Water, a creek that flows north from Aldenham Reservoir towards River Colne. It is presently surrounded entirely by the Metropolitan Green Belt which is experiencing significant land recycling and pressure to ease the Green Belt regulations.
This town is one of the most affluent towns in Britain. It encompasses many large single detached dwellings with extensive gardens. Victorian terraced houses and semi-detached homes are also found in streets along the old town centre. Its strong transport links and proximity to London makes it a boom town for real estate trading over the last few years.
