Cirencester is a market town in east Gloucestershire, England, and the largest town in the Cotswold district. It is located 93 miles west-northwest of England on the River Churn, a branch of the River Thames. The town is twinned with Itzehoe in Germany.

The main shopping areas in this town are the Market Place, Dyer Street, Castle Street and Cricklade Street. The Marketplace has recently been upgraded to incorporate a “shared space” to be used by the Cirencester Advent Festival, the town’s market and other events. Another street worth a visit is the Black Jack Street which has plenty of nooks and crannies waiting to be explored and so is the Bishop Walk, a small covered shopping area.

For places of interest in this town, there is the Corinium Museum, Roman Amphitheatre, Brewery Arts Centre, Rodmarton Manor and Cirencester Park. The town is also a short driving distance to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Keynes Country Park.
The Elemental Sculpture Park, a 10-hectare site that showcases the works and talents of seasoned as well as up and coming artists is also one of the places of interest in this town.
For people who love the outdoors, there is camping at the campsite of the Abbey Home Farm, a mixed organic farm with a cafe, farm shop, cookery and craft courses among others
