Kidderminster, a Large Town and Civil Parish in the District of Wyre Forest in the English County of Worcestershire
The large town of Kidderminster which constitutes most of the Wyre Forest Conurbation is in the Worcestershire county in England. It is considered the largest town in the Wyre Forest District and is about 15 miles north of the city centre of Worcester and 17 miles south-west of the Birmingham city centre. Husum in Germany is twinned with this town. The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal and the River Stour both flow through the town centre.

The Museum of Carpet is probably the most popular attraction in Kidderminster. It is a museum dedicated to the town’s carpet industry complete with working looms, exhibitions, galleries and a gift shop with a broad range of souvenirs and gifts. The Severn Valley Railway Tour is not to be missed when visiting this town. It is a historic railway that offers an excellent view of the countryside as it follows the serpentine meandering of the River Severn.
