Woodbridge, a Beautiful and Dynamic Market Town Along River Deben in the English County of Suffolk
The picturesque and vibrant market town of Woodbridge lies on the banks of River Deben in East Anglia in the English County of Suffolk. This market town which is called the “gem” of Suffolk is approximately 8 miles from the seacoast and a few miles away from the urban area of Ipswich. Sutton Hoo, the site of two 6th and 7th Century Cemeteries including a ship-burial, and the most important Anglo-Saxon historical site in the UK is near this town. The town is said to have over 1100 years of recorded history but has retained many of its historical architecture.

The River Walk and Tide Mill is the most-favoured site in Woodbridge both by locals and visitors. It is a joy to walk along the riverside path or drink coffee on the Quayside while soaking the fanciful view across the river. It is also where the working historic Tide Mill, whose water wheels are still turning and have the capability to grind wholemeal flour is found.
