Bricket Wood is a village in the English county of Hertfordshire. It is 4.2 miles south of St Albans and the same distance north-northeast of Watford. The village belongs to the civil parish of St Stephen. The London Midland Train Service between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey serves the railway station of the village. This village’s pride is the Wicket Brood Border Morris dance team, one of the best Morris dancing team in the area. This was a traditional farming area until the advent of the railway, and a train station was built in the village in 1861. It is a community surrounded by green fields which began to be developed in the 1930s.

Although there are no local attractions in the village, it is an ideal base for visiting some of the places of interest in the neighbouring towns such as the Aldenham Country Park, and the Bhaktivedanta Manor in Aldenham. At St Alban's, there is the Royal National Rose Society Gardens, the Old Gorhambury House and the Albans Woods, the Hilfield Park Reservoir in Elstree and more.
