The market town and civil parish of Dunstable is located in Central Bedfordshire in Bedfordshire County, England. It is the largest settlement in the district and third largest in the county after Luton and Bedford. During the Roman era, the town’s name was Durocobrivis.

While in town, one thing that visitors should not miss is a visit to the Chilterns. The Downs is the best place to view the Chilterns ridge while enjoying a leisurely walk along the many circular walks and footpaths of the Downs. It is also a great place to have a picnic or even fly a kite. One particular walk worth taking is the Dunstable Downs to Whipsnade Circular Walk, Whipsnade being another attraction and famous for its tree cathedrals.
