Tenbury Wells, a Civil Parish and Market Town in the Malvern Hills District in the English County of Worcestershire
The market town and civil parish of Tenbury Wells is in the north-western boundary of the Malvern Hills District in the English County of Worcestershire. It sits on the south bank of the River Teme which serves as the border between Worcestershire and Shropshire. Burford in Shropshire lies on the northern bank of the river.

Tenbury has quite a selection of independent shops. The town still has the kind of merchants that are now long forgotten in many towns such as ML Banfield & Sons where you find everything from light bulbs to screws. Beside the local supermarkets, there are specialist food shops selling a range of local produce. Market day in this town is Tuesday, although a smaller market is held Saturdays and Fridays while a more comprehensive farmers market is held every third Saturday
Although there is no hotel in Tenbury Wells, it has six B & Bs and several special lodgings such as holiday parks, camping parks and the Wolferlow Wigwams. There is no lack of eating places in Tenbury. There are restaurants, bars & pubs, tea rooms, and coffee shops in the heart of town.
Things to See and Do in Tenbury Wells
Tenbury Wells is famous throughout the country for more than a hundred years now for its winter auction of mistletoe and holly and other Christmas items. The unique “Chinese-gothic” buildings of the Pump Room built in 1862 but were restored and reopened in 2001 are also a well-known landmark in this town. In September 2008, the ownership of these buildings had been transferred to the Tenbury Town Council from the Malvern Hills District Council.
Then there is the Temevale Alpacas, a unique experience that involves hiking and interacting with alpacas. Temevale is a glamping site where visitors can enjoy nature at its best.
