The village of Middleton is in the Suffolk Coastal district east of the English county of Suffolk. It is about 3 miles north-west of Leiston, famous for its Garret agricultural engineering past. It is also 3 miles inland from the Suffolk North Sea coast and 5 miles north-east of the traditional market town of Saxmundham. It is approximately 2 miles east of Yoxford on the B1122.

Things to See and Do in Middleton

Middleton is included in the highly acclaimed Heritage Coastal area. It sits on the River Badingham and is entirely agricultural. Local attractions in the village include the prestigious Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Minsmere and the internationally acknowledged Snape Maltings concert hall. Close at hand is the old Roman port of Dunwich which has mainly disappeared at sea.
