Newbury is the principal town in the west of Berkshire, England. It is a historic town with its civil parish and West Berkshire’s administrative headquarters. It stretches over both sides of the Kennet and Avon Canal and the River Kennet. The town sits on the fringe of the scenic Berkshire Downs which is part of the North Wessex Downs AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
